Week 10 of 10 - “Don’t Play the Fool!...Really?”
As we near the end of this series, we are challenged in our thinking that our faith requires us to look foolish at times!
We are often encouraged to conform in life, and sometimes this means playing it safe-but maturity doesn’t equal conformity.
Jesus says that the way we grow is to become more like little children... Really?
We need to increasingly care less about what people think of us and to care more about what God thinks. Let’s go out on a limb and do something seemingly foolish.
We are often very self-conscious, it’s a kind of curse!... but what does it mean to run with passion and be consumed by the things and the people Jesus was consumed by.
It would be great to see you at New Hope this Sunday as we celebrate communion and start to prepare for advent.
New Hope - 10.30 am.
